Our approach is based on the understanding that many learning, behaviour, emotional and movement challenges are connected to how well different parts of the brain are communicating and working together. When one side of the brain is developing differently or not keeping up, it can create imbalances that show up in everyday life.

Instead of masking symptoms, we look for the underlying cause.

Using a whole-brain, whole-body approach inspired by the work of Robert Melillo, we assess how the brain and body are functioning together and create targeted, practical programs to support growth.

Nicole Weaver is a passionate Neurodevelopmental Educator with over 17 years of experience supporting children and their families. Nicoles approach is grounded in the simple belief that every child can thrive once we understand how the brain and the body work together.

Working at Top to Toe Neuro, Nicole focuses on looking at the whole child literally from top to toe. This includes how the brain is functioning, how the body is moving, and how these systems work together to support learning, behaviour, and regulation. 

Nicole's vocation is in education, leadership, and inclusive support. Nicole holds a Master of Education and has consistently worked with children who may find learning, focus, coordination, or emotional regulation more challenging, and is renowned for creating calm, engaging environments where children are safe, understood, and capable.

Nicole has completed advanced training in the Melillo Method, which has deepened her understanding of brain development, hemispheric balance, and functional approaches to supporting children, and is continually studying to advance her subject matter and stay across all new developments in this field. This training allows Nicole to design targeted, individualised programs that support each child’s unique developmental profile.

Nicole quickly builds a positive rapport with families and is happy to engage with other supports that the family have in place. Nicole ensures that everything is practical, achievable, and easy to continue at home. Her goal is ALWAYS to support real-life change not just in the clinical sessions, but in the everyday challenges that life can present to the family as a whole.

A special part of Nicole’s work includes incorporating a therapy support dog (Bertie), this is proven to help the client feel more relaxed, connected, and ready to engage.
